Booker Books Huddleston Hall Following Debate

Fresh off his fifth national debate just the night before, Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) centered his Nov. 22 rally at the University of New Hampshire (UNH) around a life story complete with personal encounters with the same inequalities he has persistently promised to fight through his candidacy, all as he told his political story and tackled multiple topics with the audience in a subsequent town hall format in an effort to rack up a stronger student vote.

Yang Seeks Out Youth Vote at UNH Rally

Coined as the contrary to Donald Trump and the “Asian guy who likes math,” entrepreneur and first-time presidential candidate Andrew Yang joined the growing list of Democratic hopefuls dropping by the University of New Hampshire (UNH) when he led an enthusiastic yet casual rally on Friday, Sept. 27 in the Huddleston Hall Ballroom to promote his platform and seek more student recruits to his so-called “Yang Gang.”

MacPhee, Crowley, Griffin Win Student Elections

The crowd of nearly 70 strong outside of Thompson Hall – filled with students, supporters, student senators and University of New Hampshire administrators – burst into passionate cheers and applause as Student Senate Speaker Nicholas LaCourse announced the winners of the 2019 Student Body General Elections on Friday, March 29: Allison MacPhee and Kelsey Crowley as student body president-elect and vice president-elect, respectively, and Cailee Griffin as the next student trustee.
